Supreme Court softens stand on NCERT judiciary chapter, says harsh remarks against academicians will be removed

The Supreme Court has agreed to remove harsh remarks made against three academicians linked to the controversial NCERT Class 8 chapter on corruption in the judiciary. The Court clarified that its criticism was aimed at the textbook content, not the individuals. It also stressed the need for balanced and responsible academic material on constitutional institutions.
