NTA needs reform, not replacement, says former UGC chairman

Former UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar stated NTA needs structural strengthening. He views exam security as an end-to-end challenge given the scale. The government has implemented several measures to improve the examination system. Kumar suggested continuous risk assessment and digital traceability for better security. He emphasized building permanent professional capacity and dependable examination centers.
