Melbourne’s M80 Ring Road upgrade utilized recycled materials throughout its pavement layers. This project incorporated waste equivalent to millions of plastic bags and glass bottles. Recycled pavement materials and eMesh were also extensively used in the construction. The upgrade aimed to improve capacity, safety, and traffic reliability on the freeway. This initiative demonstrated a significant milestone in using recycled content for major infrastructure.
