Seven Indian schools have been shortlisted among the top 10 finalists across four categories of the World’s Best School Prizes 2026, setting a record for the highest number of schools from any country in a single year. The schools have been recognised for innovation, community collaboration, environmental action and supporting healthy lives. The winners will be announced in November, with all shortlisted schools also competing for the Community Choice Award through a global public vote.
