Drake’s Island, a 6.4-acre historic island in Plymouth Sound, Devon, has gone on sale for offers above £2 million. The former military site features a Grade-II listed Governor’s House, underground tunnels, Tudor fortifications and planning consent for a 43-bed hotel. Fortified in the 16th century, the island also has a mysterious, reportedly haunted past.
