Gurgaon schools shift online, offices adopt WFH today amid heavy rainfall, waterlogging and traffic disruption

Gurugram schools have shifted to online classes today, August 25, 2026, while corporate and private offices have been advised to operate under Work From Home arrangements following heavy rainfall. The DDMA issued the advisory after around 75 mm of rain caused widespread waterlogging, stranded school buses and severe traffic disruption across key roads. The IMD has issued an orange alert, while civic teams are carrying out pumping, drainage and road maintenance work.
