Oil hits $100: Brent crude soars in triple digits after fresh wave of Middle East attacks

On Wednesday, Brent crude oil prices exceeded one hundred dollars per barrel. Heightened concerns over supply arose following new attacks on oil facilities and tankers in the Middle East. The U.S. military responded by targeting five Iranian tankers, which were involved in missile strikes, while Houthi rebels ignited oil facilities in Saudi Arabia. These escalating conflicts have driven prices higher.
