On August 26, Galesburg proudly unveiled Cooke Park, a fully accessible neighborhood space built on the site of the former Cooke Elementary School. This ambitious $1.352 million project features an inclusive playground and splash pad, showcasing the community’s dedication to inclusivity. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by local officials and community leaders, marking a significant partnership between the government and residents.
