Karnataka students will no longer face penalty charges for delayed admissions to government PU colleges. This new policy will take effect starting from the 2026-27 academic session. The government cited misuse of the penalty provision by some educational institutions. Colleges are now directed to strictly adhere to the official admission calendar.
